I realized not too long ago that our school isn't the biggest place in the world. We have one major hallway, where practically every class is. But that's not the only thing I've recently noticed. I also noticed the strange things that happen between people in the hallway.
On March 5, several members from Sacred Heart University's Habitat for Humanity will be departing on a journey to Wilmington, North Carolina. This will be the third year in a row SHU has left the Bridgeport area to help others in need of decent housing. In the past, the dreaded twelve-hour drive was overshadowed by the warm hospitality shown upon our arrival.
To the Editor, I'm writing to inform the Students of Sacred Heart University of a unique spiritual opportunity that will begin on Sunday Feb. 27th at 9:00pm. 1064 will be held in the University Chapel and we will come together to share in our collective spiritual journey.
Dear Editor: Let me begin by saying I do not intend to offend anyone. I am merely writing as a concerned tuition-paying student. I heard an estimate once that of every dollar we spend on tuition, only seven cents of that dollar is spent on academics. I have no idea just how accurate this figure is but I'm assuming it holds some truth here at Sacred Heart.
