Ross Szabo came to campus last Wednesday to speak for the "Fear No People" lecture series sponsored by Residential Life. Szabo aimed to diminish the stigma given to people with mental illness. Property rights, hospital visits and making medical decisions on the others behalf are just a few of the legal rights that these couples will now have. Unlike Vermont and Massachusetts, Connecticut had this bill passed without a lawsuit or a court order.
