The Gallery of Contemporary Art here at Sacred Heart University has a new exhibit called "Women of a Certain Age and Beyond", which depicts the beauty of women no matter what their age. The artists featured in this exhibit are Dotty Attie, Louise Bougeois, Ann Chernow, Nancy Spero, and Selina Trieff, whose pieces are inevitably very different in style yet each show that a woman's true beauty is more then skin deep and never grows old.

Oscar nominated, "Juno" is about a teenage girl, Juno MacGuff, played by Ellen Page, who gets pregnant by her friend and love interest Paulie Bleeker, played by Michael Cera. The movie shows Juno's struggles through out her pregnancy. It shows the difficult choices she has to make and the consequences and emotions that are all tied along with being pregnant at such a young age.
Australian-born actor and 2005 Academy Award nominee, Heath Ledger, was found dead in his SoHo apartment on Tuesday, Jan. 22, near a bottle of prescription sleeping pills raising speculation of a possible drug-inflicted death. No confirmation of the cause of death has been released yet, but complications resulting from the mixture of alcohol and drugs have been ruled out since police said there were no signs that Ledger, 28, had been drinking that night.
Whether locally in Bridgeport or miles away in El Salvador, students are always willing to lend a hand. For the past 15 years, volunteers of faculty, staff and students traveled to a remote and extremely impoverished village in El Salvador. Each year during Spring Break, the volunteers travel to the providence of Usulatan, to help those less fortunate.
