Pack the Pitt breaks attendance record

For the second year in a row, "Pack the Pitt" attracted a record-breaking number of fans. According to the University's athletic page online, a total of 2,012 fans filled the William H. Pitt Center during Saturday's basketball double header. "We knew it was going to be tough to top last year's debut of Big Red.

ONE Campus Challenge at SHU ranks first in Nation

Sacred Heart University ranks first in "ONE Campus Challenge", overall in the nation. The school community alone has devoted a large amount of time and effort towards awareness and expenditure of the campaign to eliminate global poverty and AIDS. Nurse practitioner raises pro-life awareness

Sacred Heart University nurse practitioner, Cortney Davis, recently began her journey of being a pro-life advocate in Fairfield County as well as on campus. Davis has worked in the field of women's health for over sixteen years. Her past positions at organizations such as Planned Parenthood put her face to face with the realities of abortion.

Health Center warns students about threat of Norovirus

"It was my first day of classes and I couldn't go to two, I have never felt so sick in my life," said senior Jen Haring, who recently came down with the infamous Norovirus. According to an illness alert email sent by Cortney Davis, registered nurse at the Health Center, this 24-60 hour virus causes the sudden onset of vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, muscle aches, chills, a low-grade fever, and a headache.

Dr. Reid is appointed faculty athletics representative
