"I'm not going anywhere on spring break unfortunately, but if I could go anywhere I would love to go to the Bahamas. Spring break I feel is necessary for college students to experience. I do not feel it is too late to start planning now for college students because we are always doing last minute things," said Annie Tomasz, junior, Hopkinton, Mass.
Some students unfortunately weren't able to plan a trip, but they all have places in mind they would have loved to travel to this year.
"Unfortunately, I am not going anywhere for spring break, but if I could choose, it would definitely be an island some where in the Caribbean. I don't think it's ever too late to plan a spring break. I think students will regret it if they don't experience going on spring break at least once while in college," said Christine Lion, junior, North Haven.
At this late date in February, its going to be tough to plan a great spring break trip, but If you still want to go and spend the least amount of money possible a cruise may be the way to go.
All cruise lines need to fill their boat before they set sail so the closer its gets to the departure date, the more the rates go down. You may just be lucky enough to plan a trip a week before and still have a great spring break filled with the hot sun, daiquiris at 2 pm and a getaway from this 25 degree weather here in Connecticut.
For those of you who procrastinated this year, it's never too late to start planning for next March.
