Dr. Taylor who is a graduated of the Sacred Heart psychology department was a student of Dr. Donald Brodeur.
"I am especially grateful to all the support that Dr. Brodeur has provided for me as a student and as a professional psychologist. He is a very important part of the history of our department at Sacred Heart and I am really proud to be part of the legacy he has left,' said Taylor.
"Dr. Brodeur exhibited great wisdom, sensitivity and kindness in the guidance he provide to the faculty and students in the psychology department," said Taylor.
"It is a privilege and honor to carry forth in the spirit with which he led the department. Having him as our guest to address the students about the history of our department is a wonderful way to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of our Sacred Heart chapter of Psi Chi. Certainly it made for a very nostalgic evening for those of us who have witnesses the myriad of changes and moves the psychology department has made since the twentieth century," said Taylor.
